Jean Daniel Broussé comes from a long lineage of bakers. He is destined to follow in the footsteps of his father, grandfather and great grandfather and inherit the family bakery in rural France. But JD is a queer circus artist with an intolerance to gluten and patriarchy.
Literally baking bread live on stage as both process and metaphor, the show explores belonging, identity and the need to create your own recipes in the face of tradition, pressure and expectation.
The show can be performed in French or English.
