HAM
Hotter Project | 2026

A kinky eco-hijacking of Shakespeare’s Hamlet about meat, madness, and the power of shame.
A grief-stricken vegan seeks revenge for the death of a pig. First, he thinks for a long time. Second, he blames his mother. Finally, he wreaks the ultimate vengeance… by putting on a play.
Hotter Project twists this high-brow tragedy into a sordid wrestle between a vegan and a sausage-lover. As we hurtle towards the end of humankind, every one of us must decide: to eat, or not to eat? Is that the question?
Ham makes one of the most convincing cases for veganism I’ve seen in art. That they do with so much humour and measured hope is quite remarkable.
The Herald
Absolutely bonkers and deeply moving.
Broadway World
Bold, filthy, funny and surprisingly thought-provoking.
A Young(ish) Perspective
If this government cared about life on earth, they would pay for this show to be played in every town hall, every school, every church, every music festival, every theatre and every prison in the country.
